32 flavors

Squint your eyes and look closerI'm not between you and your ambitionI am a poster girl with no posterI am thirty-two flavors and then someAnd I'm beyond your peripheral visionSo you might want to turn your headCause someday you're going to get hungryAnd eat most of the words you just saidBoth my parents taught me about good willAnd I have done well by their namesJust the kindness I've lavished on strangersIs more than I can explainStill there's many who've turned out their porch lightsJust so I would think they were not homeAnd hid in the dark of their windows'Til I'd passed and left them aloneAnd god help you if you are an ugly girlCourse too pretty is also your doomCause everyone harbors a secret hatredFor the prettiest girl in the roomAnd god help you if you are a pheonixAnd you dare to rise up from the ashA thousand eyes will smolder with jealousyWhile you are just flying backI'm not trying to give my life meaningBy demeaning youAnd I would like to state for the recordI did everything that I could doI'm not saying that I'm a saintI just don't want to live that wayNo, I will never be a saintBut I will always saySquint your eyes and look closerI'm not between you and your ambitionI am a poster girl with no posterI am thirty-two flavors and then someAnd I'm beyond your peripheral visionSo you might want to turn your headCause someday you might find you're starvingAnd eating all of the words you said

the weight of the world

Each day, I say that today won’t be like yesterdayBut it stays this wayToday and everydayI prayThat today will feel a different wayBut it stays this wayThe weight of the world has fallenAnd the rubble is at my feetThe voice of a girl is callingI can hear herBut she’s buried so deepAll of my truths are brokenThey’re fragments of love and hateThe words that remain are a tokenOf honesty that came too lateHereIn the midst of madnessWashed up by the tides of warTry to resist this sadnessBut the pressure is hard to endureYet we begin againStill playing our gamesAnd everyone’s innocentJust victims of changeWearing a mask of freedomAnd hiding behind a smilePlaying the role of a leaderPretending for just a whileEverything seems an illusionEchoing around my brainTrapped in a vast seclusionWhere the images fall like rainAnd we begin againStill playing our gamesAnd everyone’s innocentJust victims of changeLiving in sin againWith no one to blameAnd everyone’s innocentJust victims of changeEach day, I say that today won’t be like yesterdayBut it stays this wayToday and everydayI prayThat today will feel a different wayBut it stays this way
crazy
You've got your home of the braveAnd I've got my land of the free. You conform to what society saysAnd I conform to me.Looking for light in the corners,Getting caught in the spider web.You look at me as though I'm giving a performanceWhen I'm just feeding my head. And you know that I'm doing alrightAnd I won't explain myself to you just to avoid a fightHow I'm living ain't correct,But for me, its just rightChorus:I'm not completely insane.I'm maybe just a little bit crazy. There's no one to blame,Got no shame 'bout my game,Don't want nobody to save me.I've got a pair of ruby slippers thatI don't wear much anymoreAnd if I had the nerve,I'd click my heels and returnTo the wonderland I knew before.I'm waiting on a slow boat to China,Gonna sail away to the sun.I've been searching for myself,And I know I'm gonna find herIf I break away from everyone. So, the way that I act may not fit in.Just because I have a mind of my own,Doesn't mean its a sin.I don't ask you to give up;Don't expect me to give in.Chorus Some like to live for the moment,Taking life into their hands every day.And if they don't get killed,They get so high off the thrill,They could float to heaven anyway. And others want to save for tomorrow,Thinking money is security.Well, I understand the need,But I don't get the greed.Y'know, they all seem pretty crazy to me.You can tell by the expression I wear.Though I seem a little strange to youI don't really care. I've got the freedom to be;There are others like me everywhere...

james blunt: you're beautiful

My life is brilliant.
My love is pure.
I saw an angel.
Of that I'm sure.
She smiled at me on the subway.
She was with another man.
But I won't lose no sleep on that,
'Cause I've got a plan.

You're beautiful. You're beautiful.
You're beautiful, it's true.
I saw you face in a crowded place,
And I don't know what to do,
'Cause I'll never be with you.

Yeah, she caught my eye,
As we walked on by.
She could see from my face that I was,
Fucking high,
And I don't think that I'll see her again,
But we shared a moment that will last till the end.

You're beautiful. You're beautiful.
You're beautiful, it's true.
I saw you face in a crowded place,
And I don't know what to do,
'Cause I'll never be with you.
You're beautiful. You're beautiful.
You're beautiful, it's true.
There must be an angel with a smile on her face,
When she thought up that I should be with you.
But it's time to face the truth,
I will never be with you.

angels and demons

"From Santi's earthly tomb with demon's hole,
'Cross Rome the mystic elements unfold.
The path of light is laid, the sacred test,
Let angels guide you on your lofty quest."
the story was so brilliant! i actually finished it last night... the time when i think Robert Langdon was already trying to look for Vittoria Vetra's who was captured by the Hassassin. i was so stuck into the fast fun read... well my first time to read over a hundred chapter book and since Friday i was so into it that i sleep almost late... such a great story!!! looking forward on reading the Da Vinci Code this week hehehehe! cant spill the plot here though! all i can say is a must read!

Into the Blue

Into the Blue is a thriller set in the deep, shark-infested waters of the Bahamas. When four young divers discover a legendary shipwreck rumored to contain millions in gold at the bottom of the sea, they believe their dream of buried treasure has come true. But nearby on the ocean floor, a sunken plane full of illegal cargo threatens their find. The friends make a pact to keep quiet about both discoveries so they can excavate the shipwreck before a rival treasure hunter uncovers their secret and beats them to the gold. But their plan goes awry when they realize dangerous smugglers are already closing in on the missing plane, and one of the friends makes a fatal decision that quickly turns the treasure hunters into the hunted.
